Big Chill Beach Club and Big Chill Surf Cantina Raise Over $2,000 for Cancer Support Community Delaware

Big Chill Beach Club and Big Chill Surf Cantina are proud to announce the success of their partnership with Cancer Support Community Delaware during the 10th annual Crush Out Cancer fundraiser held on May 31 & June 1, 2025. This year's event saw an incredible amount of support from the community, resulting in a total donation of $2,798 to Cancer Support Community Delaware.

“We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this donation possible” says Big Chill brand manager Matt Garbutt. “Being able to have Big Chill be apart of the Crush Out Cancer fundraiser event is always great and we are so happy to support an organization that means so much to us & our community.”

Crush Out Cancer is an annual fundraiser uniting restaurants and individuals in Delaware on the first weekend of June to observe National Cancer Survivor Day. Funds raised from the event go directly towards those affected so no one has to face cancer alone. Cancer Support Community Delaware strives to ensure that anyone impacted by cancer is empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Cancer Support Community Delaware’s support groups and programs are professionally led to help caregivers cope with the emotional and life changing aspects of cancer.
