The Board of Trustees is now accepting applications from the citizens of the Indian River School District interested in serving on the Board of the Frankford Public Library. Applicants comfortable working with nonprofit budgets are especially encouraged to apply.   
The Board oversees the Library as a representative of the community.  They determine and adopt progressive policies governing the operation of the Library.  They develop and oversee the operating budget and actively support local, state, and federal library legislation, advocacy, and funding.
The Board meets at least 10 times a year with an agenda posted seven days in advance of the meetings.  Board meetings are open to the public.  The appointment will be made by the Resident Judge of the Superior Court of Sussex County pending a successful interview with the current Board of Trustees.  Any interested candidate can contact the Frankford Public Library to obtain an application form.
