Part-Time Executive Director
Santa's Letters is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and strategic Part-Time Executive Director to lead and manage the organization’s operations, growth, and sustainability. The Executive Director will be the face of the organization, responsible for shaping and executing a strategic vision, cultivating partnerships, raising funds, managing events, and overseeing the success of our letter campaign. The ideal candidate will bring experience in non-profit leadership, strategic planning, and fundraising, with a strong ability to inspire stakeholders and manage a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Act as the primary spokesperson and representative of Santa's Letters, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community members.
- Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for growth, sustainability, and organizational impact.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors to align the organization’s mission, vision, and goals with its operational activities.
- Fundraising and Partnerships:
- Lead fundraising efforts through donor engagement, grant writing, corporate sponsorships, and special events.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual and corporate donors to secure financial support for programs and operational needs.
- Identify and cultivate new partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to expand the organization’s reach and capacity.
- Event Management:
- Plan and oversee key fundraising events, holiday initiatives, and community outreach programs to engage the public and support the organization's mission.
- Ensure all events are executed efficiently, meet fundraising goals, and enhance the organization’s reputation.
- Campaign Management:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and growth of the Santa’s Letters campaign, ensuring a high-quality experience for all participants.
- Manage logistics, team coordination, and customer service related to letter processing and fulfillment.
- Team Management:
- Provide leadership and direction to staff and volunteers, fostering a positive, mission-driven work culture.
- Ensure efficient operation of day-to-day activities, including managing staff, coordinating volunteers, and ensuring program deliverables are met.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the Board of Directors, ensuring financial resources are used effectively and responsibly.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure the organization’s financial health through regular reporting and oversight.
- Proven experience as an Executive Director, Program Director, or similar leadership role within a non-profit organization.
- Strong background in fundraising, grant writing, and securing corporate sponsorships.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, managing partnerships, and leading teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse audiences.
- Experience with event planning and management, particularly in a fundraising context.
- A passion for Santa's Letters’ mission and the ability to inspire others to support the cause.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of non-profit financial management and reporting.
