Minecraft Event: Dinosaur Safari

Come for a Minecraft Event at the South Coastal Library in Bethany Beach! Embark on a dinosaur safari around the volcano, searching for three hidden keys to unlock cave entrances and discover larger fossils. Fly around to observe dinosaurs in their natural habitats, and let your imagination run wild as you build your own dinosaur. Craft detailed habitats that include all the essentials for your prehistoric friends!

Space is limited, you must register for this program. Registration will open one week prior to the event. 

Must bring your own device ready to go!

Supported (Devices and Editions)

• Devices: Laptops, personal Chromebooks, iPads, and Tablets

• Editions: Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Minecraft Java Edition

Not Supported (Devices and Editions)

• Nintendo Switch: Requires Nintendo Online and Xbox Live, plus additional setup. If a participant plans to use one, a tech setup meeting is required beforehand.

• School-issued Chromebooks: Often have administrative restrictions blocking installation or access to servers.

• Minecraft Education Edition: Not compatible with the Minecraft Servers required for our programs.

• Modded Versions: Not supported due to stability and fairness issues.
