Made by Hand Ribbon Cutting: 30th Anniversary Celebration
Join the BFACC at Made by Hand International Cooperative on Saturday, May 9th, for a ribbon cutting celebrating Made by Hand's 30th Anniversary! The store opens at 10 AM on Saturday, and we will cut the ribbon around 10:30 AM. May 9th is also Made by Hand's Customer Appreciation Day, so they will have festivities all day!
Made by Hand International Cooperative is a Fair Trade organization that promotes economic development and social justice for artisans and their communities while preserving cultural traditions. They have a variety of clothing, accessories, homewares, decor, and more! They pay artisans and small farmers a Fair Price promptly for their products, so they can improve their living conditions and build sustainable businesses in their hometowns.
