All are welcome to be part of the final planning stages for the International Outreach Program (ISOP) of the Quiet Resorts for an Open House.  Any person, organization or business, who hires, hosts or houses an international student, is invited to attend.  The International Student Outreach Program (ISOP) of the Quiet Resorts is the re-launch of a long-standing program to assist international students who visit the area to ensure they have a safe, positive experience in the Quiet Resorts. 

 Previously known as the Quiet Resorts International Student Committee (QRIS), sponsored by ResortQuest and the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, this program offers comprehensive orientation classes to the visiting J-1 students that range from opening a bank account to accessing emergency services.  A bike safety course, led by Anthony Agilio, Supervisor in the Local Systems Planning Section for the Department of Delaware Transportation and long-time resident, Bob Parsons, teaches the rules of the road and takes the students on a ride to test their skills.  In addition to the orientation, St. Martha’s Episcopal Church has a welcome party to connect the students with each other and the local community.
 
Long-time businesses and organizations that serve the international students or those who would like to be part of this unique experience are encouraged to attend the ISOP Open House on Tuesday, March 1^st at the South Coastal Library beginning at 4:30 p.m.   Light refreshments will be served. The South Coastal Library is located at 43 Kent Avenue in Bethany Beach.
