Frankford Public Library - Adult Craft: Weave a Shaker-style Basket

Learn to weave your own basket. In this introductory workshop, we will use flat reeds to create a Shaker-style basket with a square bottom. The "Cape Cod Blueberry Basket" kit includes a carved and notched oak basket handle. You’ll practice starting a base, building up the walls, and leave with your own finished 6" wide x 7" tall basket. Instruction will be provided every step of the way.
