Join us at Delaware Botanic Gardens for their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating their expansion and renovations on Thursday, March 17, 2022 with the welcome starting at 11:00 am and ribbon cutting at noon.
The new 800-square-foot rustic cedar Restroom Building has unique features, including the entrance “Living Wall” of Plants, “Cistern” to capture rain to water plants, and “Rain Garden” by the building deck as the newest addition to the West Woodlands Garden. DNREC supported the building’s “Green” features.

On March 17th, the gardens will be open to the public at 9:00 a.m. In addition to the new building, new garden features installed over the winter include 84,000 new spring bulbs planted in the 2-acre Piet Oudolf Meadow Garden, and the new reflecting pool in the Folly Garden, with an additional 37,500 plants and bulbs.
Beginning March 17th, Delaware Botanic Gardens will be open to the public Thursdays through Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is located at 30220 Piney Neck Road, Dagsboro, DE 19939. Go to www.delawaregardens.org.
