Our life expectancy is increasing, and the number of years we have in retirement are increasing. Today, all  age groups will be living longer in retirement.  National Financial Literacy Month is recognized in the United States in an effort to highlight the importance of financial literacy and teach Americans how to establish and maintain healthy financial habits. As part of National Financial Literacy Month,  Kyle Ricker of Merrill Lynch is hosting an informational seminar titled  "Preparing For Longevity" . This workshop will underscore increasing longevity as a main contributing factor to why participants should be planning for a retirement that lasts 30 years or more, and how increased longevity brings with it many other risks.
