46th Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival: Volunteer Registration
CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
The commemorative 46th Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival in downtown Bethany Beach will be held on Saturday, September 7 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. This award-winning event includes fine artists featuring painting, woodwork, metal, clay, baskets, jewelry, porcelain, and more! Learn more at www.bethanybeachartsfestival.com. Rain date: Sunday, September 8. All volunteer times will remain the same for the scheduled rain date. Please confirm your participation by Monday, August 19.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
FESTIVAL PREPARATIONS (4 volunteers per shift needed)
Assist with week of preparations at the Chamber. If organization and attention to detail is your thing--this role is perfect for you!
- Available Shifts:
- Wednesday, September 4: 9:00am – 12:00pm
- Thursday, September 5: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Mark all locations for the vendors and check-in for the artists.
- Available Shifts:
- Dawn Patrol - Saturday, September 7: 5:30 am – 7:30 am
Assist artists and vendors for a designated area.
- Available Shifts:
- Check-in Volunteer - Saturday, September 7: 6:45 am - 9:30 am
Assists in the parking of all volunteers and vendors in the morning and the safe departure at the end of the event.
- Available Shifts:
- Saturday, September 7: 5:30 am – 9:30 am
- Saturday, September 7: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
- Saturday, September 7: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
- Saturday, September 7: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Provide information to Arts Festival guests, assists with surveying and distribution of bags & programs. Information booths will be located on Garfield, Parkwood, and at the boardwalk.

- Saturday, September 7: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Saturday, September 7: 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Gathers, monitors, and assists in contacting the winners of the artists donated pieces.
- Available Shifts:
- Saturday, September 7 (15-20 volunteers needed for gathering): 8:00 am – 11:00 am
- Saturday, September 7 (6-8 volunteers needed for monitoring): 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Saturday, September 7 (10 volunteers needed for closing/contacting): 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Assist the Chamber & artists with the dismantling of the event
- Available Shift:
- Saturday, September 7: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Registration Instructions:
- Select the green "Register Now" button at the top of the event page
- Select "Click here to continue your registration" under the "Not a member" section on the right hand side of the screen
- Enter your name and contact information in appropriate fields. Double-check your email address!
- Select the volunteer assignment you would like. Note* if you are interested in volunteering for more than one time slot, select Add Attendee and complete the info section for each additional volunteer shift you would like.
- You will receive a confirmation email that confirms your volunteer registration. You will receive communication of more details for your assignment closer to the date you will be helping. All questions can be directed to Alyssa at events@thequietresorts.com
