DESCRIPTION:The Town of Bethany Beach is holding a J1 Student Safety Seminar on Thursday\, June 20th\, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company.\n\n\n\nThe seminar includes a meet and greet with local first responders\; including members of the Bethany Beach PD\, Bethany Beach Lifeguards\, Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company EMS/FF Staff\, and Sussex County Paramedics.\n\n\n\nStudents will be educated on awareness of pedestrian and bicycle safety issues\, beach safety\, DART and more. Mariners Bethel (Ocean View\, DE) will be on site with their bicycle loan program/registration and bicycle safety class (Assisting Bicycle Commuters) and PNC Bank will be on hand to assist the students with account setup and banking needs.\n\n\n\nLunch will be provided and there will be free giveaways!
