DESCRIPTION:Come out and "Stand Up" for our Inland Bays! Delaware Center for the Inland Bays and our amazing friends at CheSUPeake are teaming up to offer you an adventure-filled day of paddle fun!! Various paddle race distances and a 'recreational paddle' option are part of the mix\, so there's something for everyone. Plus\, live music from Homestead Bluegrass Band\, tasty & healthy food from Taco Reho and Bountiful Bowls\, cold beverages from Dewey Beer Co.\, lots of enviro-education\, raffles and more. Come out and help raise funds to restore\, protect\, and preserve our Inland Bays!\n\n\nStand Up for the Bays features 4 different courses in Indian River Bay starting and finishing at Holts Landing State Park. There are opportunities for racers of all ages\; and categories for stand-up paddleboards (SUP)\, Surfski\, Sea Kayaks (14 and up only)\, OC1\, and OC2. Aside from a fun paddle & post-paddle fest\, registered racers/paddlers will receive an event t-shirt\, one post-paddle beverage\, and some tasty post-paddle grub.
