DESCRIPTION:The Selbyville Historical Society is excited to announce its first fundraiser in celebration on Senator John Townsend's 153rd birthday on June 1\, 2024\, at the Selbyville Fire Hall (30 N Main St.) from 6pm - 9pm.  A festive celebration is planned with dinner\, music\, silent auctions and brief remarks by the co-chairmen of the event\, State Senator Gerald Hocker and State Representative Ron Gray.\n\n\n\nProceeds from the event will be used to preserve and restore the Selbyville Historical Society's future facility\, the historic Townsend residence\, for programs that educate and illustrate Selbyville's rich town heritage and to collect and archive precious town memorabilia that will bring the town's history alive.\n\n\n\nTickets are $75 each and available by clicking the green 'Register Now' button.
