Help the performer act out the tale\, as you use the events in the story to explore several exciting science concepts.\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, May 25th beginning at 1:00 PM Pirates are taking over the Plaza! Mermaids will also be in their tanks from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM near the Bandstand. Accompanied with live music by 3 Hour Tour\, a yacht rock band\, at the 1:00 and 3:00 hours. At 2:00 PM\, the Pirates will host a costume contest! Come dressed as a pirate or mermaid for your chance to win prizes. Lineup begins on the boardwalk in front of the Bethany Beach Ocean Suites and parades down to the Bandstand stage. Saturday concludes with Entrain on the Bandstand at 7:30 PM.\n\n\n\nThe Mermaids take center stage on Sunday\, May 26th. They will be in their tanks from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. They will also be doing Glam Shell Photos and Story time from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the Bandstand. The Marine Science camp will have a tent from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM doing demonstrations. First Responders will bring water rescue vehicles and explain how to prepare for coastal emergencies from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
