DESCRIPTION:The Lord Baltimore Lions Club will sponsor a "Drug Use Disorder Awareness Panel Discussion" on Monday\, March 12\, 2018 at the Indian River High School Auditorium located at 29772 Armory Road in Dagsboro\, DE. The program will run from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and all parents are invited to hear from presenters speaking on the subject of drug use disorders in our community.\n\nA variety of speakers will lead an adult conversation on the subject and community members will have opportunities to ask questions. Informational handouts and other materials will be available to help to communicate more confidently with their children.\n\nThe Schedule of Presenters for this Program include:\n\nSelbyville Middle School Principal Jason Mcrides\n\nDE. State Representative Ron Gray\n\nDE. States Senator Gerald Hocker\n\nSussex County atTAcK Addiction Co-chairs\n\nPauline Powell and Stacy Robinson\n\nOcean View Police   Chief Ken McLaughlin\n\nDelaware State Police   Cpl/2 Juantia Huey-Smith\n\nJim Elder   Bureau Chief of Community Corrections\n\nLion Kaila Prince   Addiction and Recovery\n\nCurrent suspected overdose deaths in Delaware for 2018 is 24. In 2017 there were 308 deaths.
